- Account holder information: Your name, email address, and phone number
- Subscriber information: The name and phone number of aging adults person receiving check-in calls
- Emergency contact information: Names, phone numbers, and relationships of emergency contacts you designate
- Scheduling preferences: Preferred call times and timezone
- Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
Information collected automatically
- Call logs: Records of call attempts, connection status, call duration, and timestamps
- SMS logs: Records of notifications sent to account holders and emergency contacts
- Usage data: Basic website analytics including pages visited and browser type
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve the KnockKnockCare service:
- To place scheduled check-in calls to registered subscribers
- To send SMS and call notifications to emergency contacts when subscribers do not answer
- To send confirmation notifications to account holders after successful check-ins
- To process subscription payments
- To respond to customer support inquiries
- To send service-related communications (account updates, billing notices, service changes)
- To improve the reliability and quality of our service
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the check-in service.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with:
- Telnyx: Our telecommunications provider, which places calls and sends SMS messages on our behalf
- Stripe: Our payment processor, which handles billing securely
- Supabase: Our database provider, which stores subscriber and call log data
- Vercel: Our hosting provider, which serves the website and application
- Law enforcement: When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public
All third-party providers are required to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Specifically:
- Account information is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation
- Call logs are retained for 12 months
- Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws
You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@knockknockcare.com. We will delete your data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:
